Sedona Rainbow

We arrived at Cathedral Rock in Sedona to watch the sunset on it, but lucky for us a thunderstorm passed through and gave us a beautiful rainbow.

Me posed at Hole in the Wall Arch in Arches National Park, Moab, UT. That was a great night exploring the arches in the late evening glow of the setting sun.

White Sands National Monument

Dusk at White Sands National Monument. I love the beautiful simplicity of this photo. You really have to watch you don`t get lost there, especially at dusk, but we made it out. 🙂

Happy hour at GooseNecks State Park. What a spectacular view from our free boondocking spot on the canyon rim! This was one of the best happy hour views of our trip.

Capitol Reef National Park

Capitol Reef National Park is less visited due to being remote in Utah but truly a stunning place .  This was taken right beside the highway driving into the park as the sun lit up the colored rock.

Zion - Virgin River

Anne taking a photo of the Virgin River in Zion National Park. I could post 50 images from Zion, it was awesome! I think Anne probably filled a whole hard drive during our week long visit.

Guadalupe Mountains National Park

Famous El Captain Peak in Guadeloupe Mountains National Park can be seen for hundreds of miles in New Mexico and Texas. Nice place for hiking with lots of interesting trails into the canyons and up to the high back country.

Cresent City, Ca

Anne breathes in the sea air and watches the pelicans fly at Battery Point Lighthouse in Crescent City, California. This photo is touching to me because Anne’s dog Oscar was nearing the end and I knew she must be thinking about that as she took in the scene.
