In part one of our 2018/19 snowbird seasons final two videos, we take a look at Dosewallips State Park located on the Hood Canal in western Washington State.
I show you our campsite area, and we take a walk out onto the nearby beach and tidal flats for a look around. This tidal estuary is a popular place for gathering oysters and clams or wildlife viewing. We quickly spotted a bald eagle, seagulls, terns, Canada geese, red-winged blackbirds, a Great Blue Heron, and other assorted songbirds.

In this final video of the trip, we visit a 150-foot Washington rain forest waterfall called Rocky Brook Falls then I show some footage from nearby Whitney Gardens. Our campsite gets a surprise visit from a herd of Roosevelt elk, and I provide footage of the Coho ferry trip home to beautiful Victoria, BC Canada from Port Angeles, WA.
