In this video, I share footage from our boat journey back from the Broughtons to our base in Lund. Starting in foggy Glendale Cove, we navigated through thick fog and calm waters down the Johnstone Strait to Forward Harbor, where the weather cleared into a sunny day. We stopped at Blind Channel Marina for fuel, water, and supplies, then anchored at Crawford Anchorage, where we saw a pod of Pacific white-sided dolphins.
Despite persistent fog and cloudy skies, we continued through rapids and channels, including Whirlpool Rapids and Hole in the Wall, before anchoring in Squirrel Cove on Cortes Island. Finally, we reached Lund Marina, checked on our RV and truck, and prepared for our next adventure in Desolation Sound, where fewer crowds await in mid-September.
