In this video, I give you a look at the Dove Springs OHV area located in southern California. It’s on the eastern side of the Sierra Nevadas, a little north of Mohave, CA.

Camping is free, and the area boasts some picturesque camping spots, but be warned it can fill up on weekends and holidays with mass ATV enthusiasts. So on those occasions, it’s not the most peaceful of locals. 😉

I was treated by a friend to free use of his Polaris RZR ATV for a day and we explored some historical sites in the backcountry. The video finishes up with some dashcam footage and still photos after a big thunderstorm rolled through the area.
