DIY RV Security Camera using Haloview Wireless Backup Camera

In this video, I used an extra Haloview wireless backup/rearview camera I acquired and repurposed it as my RV entrance door security camera. I mounted it over the RV entrance door using the porch light wiring to supply 12VDC power.

The Haloview wireless camera system records to a micro SD card located on the LCD display. So I’m able to have it record video and audio of anyone that comes to the door. Maybe I may even catch some wildlife on it.
