In this video, I give you a look at the beautiful forested campground at Miracle Beach Provincial Park located near Campbell River, British Columbia. It’s early October 2021, and the leaves are just beginning to change color. Being it’s now shoulder season, the campground is much less busy, leading to a very peaceful vibe. Our favorite time to camp around these parts.

Then I take you with me on a pretty hike along the Black Creek and out its estuary to the ocean and the beach. The namesake Miracle Beach is the star attraction! With lots of flat sandy areas, shallow tide pools, and sweeping ocean views of the Strait of Georgia, Discovery Islands, and BC coastal mountains in the distance. You can see why one of the province slogans is “Super, Natural British Columbia.”
