In this video, I take a look at an interesting thermal imaging gadget from GOYOJO. The G210 thermal monocular detects different levels of heat and displays them as a visual image on an internal screen or phone app screen. A photograph or video recording can be taken and stored on 16GB of internal memory.

There are 6 different heat signature displays to choose from: Hot White, Hot Black, Hot Red, Rainbow, Iron, and Glimmer. Power comes from a removable lithium-ion battery that provides up to 6 hours of operation. Here is a link to the GOGOYO website for more details and specs on the device.

Overall, I found it to be an interesting and fun device to play with, and I can envisage many uses for it. Dislikes include the low-resolution 256×192-pixel heat sensor, which makes smaller or far-away objects appear somewhat blurry. Also, the control buttons are hard to press. Likes include the compact size, long battery life, WiFi app, and IP65 water resistance for use in the rain.
