In this video, I upgrade the toilet in the forward head of our 1976 CHB trawler. The new Jabsco is an electric macerator design replacing the old pump style.
To install it, I had to modify the plumbing to the waste holding tank and run a 12VDC 25A power circuit to supply the macerator via a push-button switch. Stay tuned in the future for a full review of how it works for us.
Update – Added 90 Degree Elbow
In this video, I replace the output port on my Jabsco electric toilet with an optional 90-degree pipe. The change allowed me to run the hose straight down and hide it under the floor of the toilet stand on our CHB trawler.
