In this video, I demonstrate and review the newly released Jackery 1000 portable power station and the companion SolarSaga folding 100W solar panel. This Jackery box comes with a built-in 1000 watt pure sine wave AC inverter powered by a 1002 watt-hour lithium battery pack. There is also a selection of DC outputs to choose from, maxing out at ten amps.

I start with an overview of the products then perform a series of charging and discharging tests. I demo the Explorer in action powering various items around the RV such as the TV, toaster, Instant Pot, heat gun, etc. In the end, I come back with an overall opinion on the products. My likes and dislikes or things I feel they can do to improve the product.

*Fair Disclosure* I received the Jackery Products in the video free of charge in exchange for a review. However, I’m not sponsored by Jackery and received no monetary compensation. Opinions are my own.

It completely lost its charge while sitting for around 3 weeks, then fully recharged in about 1 hour which is impossible. Jackery is going to send me out one of the updated units. It’s supposed to have fixed some issues plus some improvements. Stay tuned…
