This week we are in the Thousand Trails Resort in Palm Springs, CA.  The weather is beautiful with highs around 80 and lows a comfortable 50ish. The RV Resort is impressive with well laid out sites and hundreds of tall Date Palms overhead.

Here is their own description:

Nestled in the beautiful Coachella Valley amid 805 date palms, this 25-acre preserve is the perfect winter vacation destination. A golfer’s paradise, the Palm Springs area has numerous well-groomed courses and has become one of the most popular destinations in the world for this activity. The Salton Sea and Lake Cahuilla are just a short distance away for those interested in fishing. No matter what you enjoy, there is something for you in this desert community! Beautiful, natural attractions such as Joshua Tree National Park, Thousand Palms Oasis, Indian Canyon, the Living Desert Wildlife & Botanical Preserve, as well as the Santa Rosa/San Jacinto National Monuments await. Take in breathtaking views of the mountains and the Coachella Valley from the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway as it lifts you up 8,000 feet to the peak of Mt. San Jacinto!

Here is a lovely shot of the pool area!
