In this video, another update from our summer boating trip in early September. We anchored our boat in Glendale Cove, Knight Inlet, a stunning spot with turquoise waters and a nearby lodge offering grizzly bear tours. From our anchorage in 7-10 meters of water, we took our dinghy to the estuary to watch grizzly bears and their cubs feeding on sedge grass, as the salmon hadn’t arrived yet.

Despite some windy swells rocking the boat at times, the calm mornings and vibrant scenery made it unforgettable. We saw wildlife like herons, eagles, ducks, and geese, and enjoyed the peaceful beauty of the cove, even with occasional smoke from distant fires. It was a thrilling trip, especially capturing those grizzly moments!
