Location details, video footage, and photos from our December 2024  overnight stopover at Roy’s Motel & Cafe in Amboy, California. Roy’s is on the historic Route 66 highway, about a 1/2 drive from Interstate 40.

Overnight RV Parking on Old Route 66 in Amboy California

They are now part of the Harvest Hosts membership site, offering free RV overnight parking in a large, flat dirt lot across the street. It was interesting and nostalgic to visit and learn about the place’s history.
