A little while ago I got an email from a Love Your RV reader named Jim. He offered up this really smart little tip for RV tank flushing and kindly allowed me to share it on the blog.
The camper next to us was back flushing his black tank. They accidentally misjudged the amount of water and overfilled the tank. Doing so blew an upper seal. Not good!
I do same back flushing of my waste tanks except I have a water meter in line with supply hose. I then know how exactly many gallons of water I’ve put in my tank.
I use a Valterra F02-4350 Reverse RV Flush Valve and the Rainwave RW-9FM LCD Digital Water Flow Meter
The combination works great along with the built in No Fuss Flush System.
Jim
Thanks to Jim for sharing this cool RVing tip.
