In this first video, I show you a slice of the beautiful coastline of my old home town of Victoria BC. Greater Victoria is located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, almost completely surrounded by the ocean.
You’ll view video footage of its pretty harbor area and the beach along the Dallas road waterfront out to Clover Point Park. We’ll see various active watercraft, seaplane & ferry traffic, local wildlife and get up close views into the rocky tide pools.

In this second Coastal Views from Vancouver Island video, I take you along on a day trip about 40 miles (70 km) west of Victoria BC. We hike to a pair of my favorite south coast beaches, China Beach and Sand Cut Beach. Sand Cut features a uniquely beautiful little creek that flows out of the rain forest towards the beach then drops around 20 feet to the sand, pebbles, and stones below.
I also show you the campground and views around Jordan River Regional Park. The video finishes off with a look at the gorgeous property owned by the Point No Point Resort.
