This is our third summer in a row spending time at Thunderbird RV Park out on the Tyee Spit in Campbell River BC. We absolutely love the park, town, and surrounding area. One of my favorite things to do is get up early around 7AM grab the beagle and take a walk along the waterfront. There are always interesting things going on and friendly folks to chat with. The peaceful atmosphere and views can’t be beaten. A great way to start the day.
This year I decided to bring the old video camera along during one of those walks and record it for you. We headed out on a warm sunny June morning and walked all the way down to the Discover Pier. On the return trip, I recorded some of the highlights and interesting spots. Hopefully, it gives you a glimpse into why we enjoy our summers here so much.
