What Do We Power With 500 Watts of RV Solar?

In this video, I give a quick overview of our 500 watts RV solar power system. You can see the full detail explanation and diagrams in the past post and video – Detailed Look at Our DIY RV Boondocking Power System

I go through all the things it powers in the rig. From devices, we plug into our 1000 watt Inverter to all the different 12 volt DC RV systems and accessories. I also give a quick demo of my wireless remote 3200-watt Energizer generator which we use for high wattage not powered by our solar panels and batteries. Items like a toaster, microwave, hairdryer, AC, etc.

What do we run off our batteries when dry camping?

  • 43″ Visio LED TV 60-80 watts
  • Instant Pot 700 watts

  • Mini Shop-Vac 600 watts
  • Electric Blanket Throw 130 watts
  • Phone and Camera Chargers
  • Verizon Jetpack MiFi
