The 2021-2022 snowbird season travels wind up with a visit to the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area in Oregon. We stayed at Memaloose State Park near Hood River, OR, which made a good base station to leave the RV while day-tripping along the scenic corridor taking in the remarkable waterfalls, history, and epic views. Highlights for me were the Vista House and Rowena Crest Viewpoints. Wow! Breathtaking views!
Next, we had short stopovers at the Veterans Memorial Museum in Chehalis, Washington, and Little Creek Casino Resort near Shelton, WA. Finally, we overnighted at the Port Angeles Walmart stocking up on groceries and household supplies before taking the Coho Ferry across to Victoria, BC. All and all, another fabulous RV trek to add to our collection. Cheers! Ray
