In this video, I hook up and test the new Charger 1 from Bluetti. The Charger 1 device transfers up to 560 watts of charging power from your vehicle’s battery/alternator to Bluetti power stations. This allows for much faster recharging times than the traditional 12V automotive power sockets, which are limited to about 100 watts.
Feature List:
- Wide Compatibility: Works with all BLUETTI power stations and most brands on the market.
- High-Speed Charging: Delivers Max. 560W of power—6 times faster than traditional car cigarette lighter chargers.
- Enhanced Cooling: Active fan cooling for optimal performance and extended service life.
- Safety Features: Protect your vehicle battery and power station from short circuit, reverse connection, under-voltage, over-temperature, etc.
- Smart Protection: Automatic turn on/off functions prevent your vehicle battery from draining.
- App Control: Allows you to adjust output voltage and monitor car battery status in real-time.
- Easy Installation: Quick to connect and setup with a few simple steps.
- Peace of Mind: Backed by a 2-year warranty for reliable performance.
Everything worked well for me, and I saw about 500 watts of charging power for my Bluetti AC70 power station. The optional wiring kit was excellent quality, and the app worked great for adjusting and monitoring the charger. One thing I found lacking was a battery terminal fuse and some detail in the manual about alternator rating precautions. I guess they expect the customer to deal with those.

Test Using a 12V Lithium Battery
In this video, I test if the Charger 1 can charge a Bluetti power station using a typical 12V LiFePO4 type battery. The answer appears to be yes. In my test using an SFK battery and AC70 power station, I saw around 500 watts of charging using the Charger 1 56 VDC setting.
Bluetti Charger 1 Feeding MPPT Solar Controller
In the comments for my recent Bluetti Charger 1 review video, some folks asked if they could use it to feed a solar charge controller and charge their RV batteries. I said I would hook it up and see what happens. The 56V setting yielded about 415 watts of charging power in my test.
