In this video, I review the latest offering from Bluetti, the Elite 100 V2 portable power station, a new power station set to release on July 1, 2025. I’ve been testing a free review sample on my boat this summer, using it as a central charging hub for our camera batteries, phones, and laptops.
This compact unit, measuring just 12.6 x 9.85 x 8.5 inches and weighing only 25 pounds, delivers an impressive 1,800 watts of continuous power with a surge capacity of up to 3,600 watts, making it perfect for running high-wattage appliances, such as our boat’s electric water heater.
The Elite 100 V2 features a 1,024 Wh lithium-iron-phosphate battery pack, which is safe and reliable for boating, with a lifespan of 4,000 charge cycles. While its battery capacity isn’t massive, it supports quick charging—up to 1,200 watts via AC or 1,000 watts via solar or DC input—enabling a full charge in as little as 70 minutes.
I love the customizable charging modes, which allow me to adjust the input from 1 to 10 amps. The companion app makes monitoring and tweaking settings a breeze, with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity for real-time updates.
I put the Elite 100 V2 through its paces, using it to heat a six-gallon water tank, which it powered for about 40 minutes at 1,300 watts, depleting the battery to 13%. Its quiet operation, with fan noise at or below 30 dB, and features like an uninterruptible power supply (switching to battery in under 10 milliseconds) make it ideal for sensitive electronics.
Whether you’re camping or boating, this power station strikes a sweet spot for portable, high-power needs, although it’s best suited for intermittent use due to its limited reserve capacity.
