In this video, I check out a cool new BougeRV T1 telescopic camping light. Looks very handy for both RV and boat life! This thing puts out up to 3,000 lumens total from three LED panels. That’s way brighter than a regular 60W household bulb, which is around 800 lumens.

It lights up a decent area of your campsite or workspace, no problem. The rechargeable battery charges in about 3 hours via USB-C and can run for up to 90 hours on lower settings, making it perfect for longer trips. It’s IPX5 waterproof, so rain is no issue. I tested it in some drizzle, and it handled it fine. The build feels sturdy with a metal body, weighs around 2.5 lbs, and collapses nicely for storage.

Setup is easy. Pop out the three legs to form a stable tripod base, then extend the pole to about 5.5 feet. The three light panels swivel and tilt a lot, 270 degrees one way and 180 degrees the other, so you can aim the light exactly where you need it. You can hang it from the top hook, stand it upright for overhead lighting, or use it as a work light in dark spots like an engine bay on the boat.

It has multiple modes: cool white, warm amber, red (great for night vision), plus three brightness levels. There’s a built-in flashlight mode, an SOS flashing red light, and quick shortcuts to jump to red. When collapsed, it makes a nice ambient glow through the side grills, perfect for picnic table vibes.

In the dark test at the estuary campsite, it lit up the whole picnic area really well for chilling, got super bright for tasks like fixing something on the RV, and hung inside nicely, too. The flashlight beam was solid.

Overall, big thumbs up. Super useful for camping, boat projects, or anywhere you need a versatile portable light. A couple of small gripes: the buttons aren’t backlit, so in pitch black you might need a flashlight to see them (a remote would be awesome). And be gentle with those extending arms and legs. They feel sturdy but could snap if you force them.

I’m definitely taking this on the boat this summer for engine bay work and dark areas. Quality seems solid, and it’ll get a ton of use. If you’re into outdoor or RV gear, this one’s worth checking out!
