A little bit of banging my own drum here but I’m pretty excited to see our beloved Cougar Trailer gracing the cover of the RV Open Road Magazine!!

I knew my review article on the Waste Master RV Sewer System was to be in it, but what a thrill to get my photo featured on the cover. The photo is from a visit we made to the Alabama Hills BLM area on the east side of the Sierra Nevada mountains in California.

No RV Park, no hookups or services of any kind. Just a patch of dirt at the end of a bumpy dirt road, a stone fire ring and scenery to die for.

My wife Anne had wanted to check it out and photograph the famous Mobius Arch. Anne is a passionate pro photographer and I guess some of her photo skills have rubbed off on me. While she is off photographing the gorgeous landscapes we visit I’m usually taking snapshots of the RV in the landscape. Of course, I must admit it is kinda hard to take a bad photo here!

The RV Open Road magazine is a free publication delivered to RV dealers all over the country. They also have a digital version available free online. I’m a bit bias since I’m published in it, but it’s really packed with great RVing info.
