You may recall this summer I put out a full review of my new Strida Lt folding bicycle. The Strida is perfect for our RV since it folds down small enough to be stowed inside. I actually have a pull-out bike rack on the trailer but was finding the bikes were taking a beating from the exposure. I was always cleaning them and battling rust.
When in travel mode I store the Strida in a narrow space beside our bed. Then once at an RV Park, after deploying our chairs, table, and BBQ I move it to the basement storage area. Hopefully, by being able to store the bike inside it will be out of sight out of mind to thieves. My wife Anne had her mountain bike ripped off even though she securely locked it to the trailer.
To make things a little more convenient and keep dirt out of the RV I recently purchased the optional Strida travel bag. Once folded down the Strida bike fits perfectly inside. It comes with a pair if carrying straps, internal padding, and a heavy duty zipper.
