At first, my main use for the zip lock style bags was for our on the road sandwiches and putting things in the freezer. But lately, I’ve been using them to store all sorts of things in the rig. Rather than storing items in a rigid container, it takes less space to use the malleable zip lock bag.

I use them to store leftovers in the fridge, snacks, dry goods in the pantry, etc. Things that come with excess sized packaging I take out and put in a zip lock plastic bag instead.

They also come in handy for my spare parts (screws, nuts, bolts, bulbs, etc.) and maintenance items. Being clear plastic makes it easy to see what’s inside at a glance.
