Simple to Install Exterior Window Shades for a Cool RV

In this video, I install several more exterior window shades. This time on the passenger side of the RV, which is exposed to the mid-day sun at our summer campsite. Outside window shades block heat/UV before it enters the windows keeping the RV cooler plus enhancing our privacy.

I again went with the EZ Snap window shade product due to ease of installation for a do-it-yourselfer like me. It’s simple to cut the non-fray vinyl mesh fabric to size and attach it to the RV using 3M stick-on studs and plastic caps. The previous installation on the rig’s back windows 4 years ago has sold me on the product’s durability over time.
