We head back in time to early June 2012, during our first year as full-time RVers. For one full year, we traveled around North America. At the time, I didn’t have a YouTube channel or a blog but did take some clips and photos with a little point-and-shoot camera. I thought since we can’t travel south, as usual, this winter, I’d put together some of the old clips and pix as videos. I hope you enjoy this look at Anne and me plus our beagles Angie and Oscar as newbie RVers.

In the final throwback video, we head from Utah to the Pacific Coast and make our way back home to Vancouver Island. After a full year on the road, it is good to be back on the west coast.

I have a few clips showing the beagles getting a much-needed bath to remove the desert dust and a bittersweet walk on a northern California beach. Our elderly Beagle Oscar, who was on his last legs being almost 16, really perked up when we hit the coast. I guess with the smell of the ocean air; he knew we were home! Shortly after, he left us for the rainbow bridge.

I hope you enjoyed this look back at our first year of RVing. It was only meant to be a one-year trip. But, we loved RVing so much we continued as full-time RVers. This June will mark our 10th-anniversary living and traveling in our Keystone Cougar fifth wheel. Cheers! Ray
